# Karim Nurani: strategy, board and investor disputes

**Question.** How do Nurani’s offices and disputes differ?

**Answer.** Nurani’s strategy and board tenures are distinct. His resignation accusations, employment claim and investor history do not share one procedural outcome.

## Strategy, board and investor history

- Analysis: The amended customer complaint describes Nurani’s strategy-chief role in 2020–March 2025 and board service in March–May 2025; the restructuring declaration records his May 30 resignation with Jiang. An earlier 2016 company profile also lists him among board members and key investors. Those are distinct historical observations, rather than evidence that the 2025 directorship was his first association with Linqto. The financial-affairs statement reports $210,421.49 in salary and bonuses in the year before filing. [s-d147] [s-d6] [s-d329] [s-d18]
- Analysis: Nurani’s own biography describes Linqto chief strategy officer, Global Investor Conference co-founder, Global Investor Podcast host and Keiretsu Connect partner, with prior Bay Angels and Sandalwood Ventures work. Its undated role descriptions do not establish continued service at the evidence cutoff. [s-d287]

## Resignation and employment claims

- Analysis: Nurani and Jiang’s May 30, 2025 letter demanded a shareholder election and alleged governance breaches, including the asset freeze and lack of financial reporting. It also alleged conflicts from former Nikkl employees’ continuing interests and criticized the management replacement and 75% workforce reduction. The creditors’ committee rejected the alleged scheme to take customer assets and said current management did not win the plan-management bids. The letter did not establish a completed Nikkl acquisition or a breach. [s-d210] [s-d8]
- Analysis: A retained Liquidshares petition extract lists Nurani’s employee claim as disputed. That creditor-list entry does not establish that the claim was allowed, paid or finally resolved. [s-d2] [s-d201]
